So in around an hour I'm going to catch a cab to the airport for my long flight home Downunder.
After 6 months of travelling and studying abroad it has all come to an end, no longer will I live out of a suitcase or sleep in a unfamiliar bed. As cliche as it sounds but time always seems to fly at the end of a period. However though it is somewhat sad that I'll be taking a break from travelling I'm eager to return home to all my lovelies and my family whom I've missed while abroad.
In the space of 6 months I've been to 12 countries, been on numerous bus and train routes, flown on more than12 planes, ate my weight in pizza and more, shopped like the world was ending and made over a handful of great friends and memories along the way.
Homeward bound now.

Vogue Australia adds a bright splash of colour for the March cover. Model Alina Baikova is dressed head to toe in Prada from the 2011 Ready to Wear collection.
I'm love love loving Vogue Australia's move for a more minimal cover, though I think that the choice to have 'Colour Fiesta' in yellow doesn't work. Besides that though this slight cover redesign being introduced is very chic and reminiscent of covers from Vogue Paris and Italia.
After falling in love with Paris on my tour in August, and unfortunately falling asleep on my only say there I had to go back to this amazing city. So my final stop before London was Paris just for two days, well really one day with trains and flights it cuts it down. Back to Paris, I wanted to get things done like climb the Eiffel tower, go up to the top of the Arc de Triomphe and go to the Louvre. Luckily I did it all, and even shopped so a very eventful day. Love love love Paris.
Update - This is my last travel post well for a while (until I earn more money). From Paris I went to London, where I burnt a large chunk of my remaining savings and now I'm in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia relaxing in the heat eating nice food right before going home.

Caroline Sieber: Noted stylist attended the Chanel Couture Show in Paris wearing none other than Chanel coupled with thigh high Louboutin boots. Note the adorable Chanel China Doll Clutch, it is so cute I love love love. (Bigger picture of the clutch over the jump)
Diane Kruger: Appearing twice on the list this week. First Kruger was front row at the Chanel Couture Show wearing none other than a nude jeweled lined Chanel dress from year's previous couture collection. Wearing a highly detailed black halter Gucci mini dress, Kruger went to the Vogue Paris Dinner honoring creative director of the brand Frida Giannini. Love love love the gold fringe on the lower of the dress.
Leighton Meester: At the premiere of her latest film 'The Roommate', Meester showed up in a black Michael Kors dress. The fitted leather bodice on the dress is tres amazing, a very chic look.
Rose McGowan: Adding colour to this week's line up McGowan wore a green print Juan Carlos Obando dress to the People's Stylewatch 'A Night of Red Carpet Style' event in LA.

Danish supermodel, Helena Christensen is on the March cover for InStyle UK.
Christensen is looking chic with her slicked back hair. I've become fond of InStyle UK, it's a good and cheap read without excessive ads or puff pieces. I'm eager to read Christensen's article and the 'BAFTA Exclusive'.
The covers are being revealed so early, it's not even February yet and I want to read them now.

Victoria Secret Model and Transformers 3 Actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looks red hot on the March cover of Vogue UK.
The cover actually reminds me of Beyonce's Heat fragrance ad campaign, the fiery colour palette and Huntington-Whiteley's natural sex appeal make this cover irresistible and a step up for Vogue UK this year cover wise. Love love love

Nicole Kidman is looking fabulous on the March cover of Harper's Bazaar Australia shot by Alexi Lubomirski.
American readers might be seeing double however as the cover shot was taken from Kidman's spread in her February Harper's Bazaar USA issue. I must say though Australian Harpers has made a great cover, unlike its American counterpart. The cover welcomes Autumn gracefully, love love love.

Keira Knightley gets another magazine cover for 2011, this time she's on the March cover of Elle UK entitled 'Keira by Tom Ford'. This is her subscribers cover, scanned images of the newsstand cover have been low quality, when I find a good one I'll post it.
Knightley as recent is starring in The Children's Hour at the Comedy Theater in London opposite Mad Men star Elizabeth Moss.
I love love love this cover, a definite plus from her January Vogue UK cover. Knigthley is wearing none other than Tom Ford looking tres intense in the bat wing catsuit.
Can't wait to pick up my copy.

From the sunny Barcelona, I went to Lyon, France. It's such a nice more quieter French city than Paris. There is plenty of places to shop and the view from the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourviere. I even went to a cute little French restaurant, delved in the cuisine and I never knew how many courses and types of cheese one could eat! Good memories.
Note the new MARTAN Main layout, I'm still getting used to it, hope you all like it.

Menswear unfortunately isn't the biggest area of the Fashion Industry. Hopefully in time it'll soon rival womenswear though I see it taking a long time, more guys need to develop taste and personal style. Anyway I've been through the entire Fall 2011 collection, I see trends of Leather, Detailed Textures, Primary Colours, Bronze and Black of course. Here are my first lot of picks from this season. I'm in love love love with these Dolce & Gabbana suits, the pants in Alexis Mabille and the sillouettes from Ann Demeulemeester

Gwyneth Paltrow is looking tres intense on the March cover of Harper's Bazaar UK. Having reinvented herself over the past few months from 90's star and mother to a popular singer and actress notably appearing on Glee and SNL. Love love love the cover and I'm uber excited to read the article 'On tour with GaGa' and of course Paltrow's 'Super Diva' spread.

Designer Tom Ford is on the February cover of Interview Magazine. The headshot cover is cut up, like the spread which I love love love. I love the black and white cover with the contrasting bronze writing and colour second layer. Ford's womenswear collection features in the cut spread.
